EXHIBIT: From Within: A Spectrum of Creativity
Showing at the Sea Cliff Village Library
Now through April
300 Sea Cliff Ave, Sea Cliff
This exhibit celebrates the creativity and individuality of the students of the Tyree Learning Center in Sea Cliff, NY. The body of work utilizes various mediums and processes in which students could explore process-driven artistic expression. Each piece on display showcases the abilities of our students, and rather than focusing solely on the final product, this exhibit honors the journey—moments of experimentation, joy, and learning that bring each work to life. It is a testament to the boundless potential of art to empower, inspire, and connect us all, while emphasizing the value of creativity as a means of self-expression and growth.
The Tyree Learning Center is a New York State certified 853 special education school under SCO Family of Services that was created to accommodate the needs of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities who reside at the Robert J. McMahon Children’s Center in Nassau County, Long Island. Small class sizes and student-centered instruction tailor each student’s education to his/her individual needs and abilities.
